Unused Eyeglasses?

Its Donations Time!

The Mocksville Lion's Club is once again beginning its annual collection of used eyeglasses to be recycled for reuse. The Lions, in addition to collecting used eyeglasses will be also collecting the eyeglass cases, lenses, hearing aids and hearing aid batteries and all computer printer cartridges from companies, small businesses and individuals.

This recycling campaign will be going on in Davie County starting May 26th and running until 12 Noon on June 23rd. The drop-off point will be at the "House of Styles Barber Shop". The shop is located at 68 Court Square in downtown Mocksville and is open Tuesday - Friday 8:30am until 5:30pm and on Saturday 8:30am -1pm.

Last year, several people wanted to mail eyeglasses to the club. You may do so by sending to "House of Styles Barber Shop" 68 Court Square, Mocksville, NC 27028. The Lions Club encourages everyone who have used eyeglasses or other used items listed above that they do not need anymore to please drop off at the shop or give them to any Lions Club member.

For more information: please contact Dale Brown at the House of Styles Barber Shop, (336) 751-3864.
